Project Community Connect, a vital resource event for community members experiencing houselessness and other resource insecurities, is returning to Missoula on Friday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Missoula Public Library.

In a safe, welcoming and stigma-free environment, community providers and organizations come together to offer hospitality and a wide range of free services, including:

  • Health services: Medical and dental care, vaccinations, STI/STD testing, mental health and addiction recovery support
  • Legal and employment services: Shelter court and legal services, employment assistance, credit checks
  • Community support: IDs and driver’s licenses, veteran services, public benefits and housing assistance, pet vaccinations and grooming, youth and family services, food and beverages, community clothing closet

Project Community Connect (PCC) provides broad community support for individuals facing housing and resource crises by offering essential services and connection with resources that can lead to greater self-sufficiency. With a one-stop-shop service model, PCC brings together more than 60 community organizations and service providers to meet residents’ basic needs while they work toward stability.

While similar to the library’s Resource Access Day, which connects community members with free services and support once a month, PCC expands on this a foundation by bringing together a wider network of providers and specialized resources in one place. Hosting this extensive array of services in one space removes many logistical barriers to access, and community members can connect with services in one day that could otherwise take months.

"Project Community Connect is a powerful example of how Missoula comes together to support neighbors in need. Libraries increasingly serve as trusted community connectors, helping people navigate housing, health and social services," said Missoula Public Library Director Slaven Lee. "We’re proud to work with our All Under One Roof building partners and dozens of local organizations to create a welcoming space where people can access resources, build relationships and move forward with dignity."

PCC will take place throughout the library building and will impact library parking and services.

Organizers are still looking for a few more volunteers for day-of support. Every helping hand makes a difference in creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and supported. To volunteer visit: https://tinyurl.com/PCCVolunteers2026
